Scholarship Winner
A $1,000 Family Scholarship was awarded to
Kimberly Cole of Detroit who is pursuing a Master's Degree in Social Work at Marygrove College. Congratulations!
New Hardship Fund Started. Attendance Rules Changed.
The Scholarship Committee has decided to start a hardship fund to allow children who are otherwise financially unable to attend the family reunion. Also, the 'must attend' rules for scholarship applicants have been changed so that any student who has been to a reunion within the last six years is now eligible to win a scholarship.
50th Wedding Anniversary Celebrated
The 1998 reunion was also an occasion to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of Calvin and Viola Hampton.
