               Farewell Aunt Lois
a poem by La Fern (Candy Spratt), Lois' niece.

Aunt Lois your life came to a sudden halt,
Grief was int he eyes of your son, Walt

Although you have a long ways up that hill,
Prayers are with you, from your nephew, Gil.

Up there things will be pleasant, and no one's contrary,
You know who's glad for you, it's your niece, Mary

Jesus loves you and everyone, and He's oh so fond.
Your nephew knows you'll make it, I'm talking about Ron.

That last time I saw you, there was something I did learn,
just as you said, sweet words to your niece, La Vern.

When you left me so suddenly, I really was concerned.
But the last words you told me were, "I love you, La Fern."
I'm not going to tell you, we're not going to sob,
Especially your nephew, I'm talking about Rob.

Your grand, great grand children, grand nieces & nephews
love you so well,
Also your sister-in-law, Willor Bell.

Up in heaven, I know you will be so handy,
And I love you, love, you, love you, your niece, Candy.
